Extended Health benefits are designed to provide UA Local 67 Benefits Plan members with coverage for a wide range of essential services and supplies, beyond provincial health insurance (OHIP).

Your Extended Health benefits have a maximum of $15,000 every calendar year (per member or per dependent), which is combined with your Prescription Drugs coverage.

The plan provides 80% reimbursement for many paramedical practitioners, and 100% reimbursement for a wide range of essential health services and supplies, to care for the health of you and your family.

Important Things to Know

Some services and devices are subject to specific maximums and limitations, in addition to the $15,000 combined annual maximum for Prescription Drugs and Extended Health.

For instance, mental health practitioners have a combined maximum of $800 per calendar year, and all other paramedical practitioners (except physiotherapy) have a combined maximum of $400 per calendar year.
